Competitions

Where our projects meet the world.

McGill BioDesign participates in the Biodesign Challenge (BDC) each year, an international, multidisciplinary competition focused on biotechnology and bioengineering. BDC hosts 30+ schools from 8 countries at a 2-day summit in New York City.

We also run our own case competitions. The Public Health case gave students one week to perform a literature review and propose a feasible solution to a real public health problem.

Two of our projects were finalists in the McGill impact200 Bicentennial Student Sustainability Challenge.
